Variegated forms of isolation and harassment...


There are five apartments on my floor. Up to about four years ago, only three were occupied, including my own.

One was home to a couple with a young daughter. Then the family moved somewhere. I see them every now and then, apparently as they pick up personal things. But they do not reside in the apartment on my floor. Who prefers this kind of living arrangement?

An old widowed biddy lived in another apartment on my floor. Her specialty was to constantly admonish me about picayune matters: what I could and could not deposit in the garbage chute, to be more quiet in the hallway, etc. As if I were some hopelessly loutish character who required perennial carping.

One day the old witch went too far and I yelled at her, “Разговаривать с вредной сумасшедшей бабой больше не буду!»

Shortly afterwards, the witch moved out. Or maybe just died. No one has moved in where she once lived.

Since that time, no one other than yours truly lives on my floor! In a very nice building in the “царское село» complex, where apartments rarely, if ever, stay empty for long.

Am I complaining? Certainly not! Anyone, I mean anyone, who moved in on my floor would have to act as a snitch and/or provocateur against me. Who wants that?

Let the CIA-FSB pay the квартплату on these four uninhabited apartments for as many years or decades as they like.

Playing with the misconception that I yearn to know about the doings of my presumptive “children,” the secret political police ban all comment, blogs etc. of and about them that might be accessible to me on the internet. The CIA-FSB not only interfere in my affairs, they often follow me around with spotters.

For a while after my cancer operation (see sections 22 – 24), I continued eating lunch at the nearby McDonalds. One day while taking the escalator up to restaurant floor, who was waiting for me but filthy slut Lauren. Directed and positioned there by the Gestapo with the aim of trying to re-establish relations. That disgusting and revolting proposition was rejected immediately.

I never use my telephone unless there is simply no alternative. How rarely? Well, for instance, this entire year I have not phoned anyone anywhere. I never call a store or anywhere else to inquire about anything; I simply go there, not worrying about the added inconvenience.

Otherwise I would be asking for trouble.

Solitude instead of vicious treachery at home...


Dumping my back-stabbing, murderous prostitute “wife” was not expected by the horrendous nazis of the US lie, spy, criminal, provocation, subversion and regime change, terror, drug-runnning, torture, war and mass murder apparatus. Nor was it anticipated by the CIA's ruthless ass-licking lackeys, the Russian FSB - Федеральная служба вредительства - предательства.

The new/old strategy – more provocations and near complete isolation of Arnold Lockshin.

This has been the program for many years. Blocking me from the mass media and then slandering me in the press and internet; sleuthing me in every way possible; firing me from the Онкологический центр; blocking all my attempts to teach English or in any way use my knowledge of the language; attempting to kill me; ordering neighbors not to associate with me or even greet me in the elevator, blocking communication on the internet...

Would all this break Lockshin?

The CIA-FSB are veritable geniuses to be sure, but even geniuses sometimes miss the mark. Solitude – not my preferable mode of living – was nonetheless immeasurably better than living with vicious enemy!

Another problem for them. With virtual lack of living contact me, how are the fascist psychological warriors supposed to get the good and fresh intelligence they require to initiate new attacks on me, “to get inside the other fellow's skin, feel his feelings and think his thoughts”? (See section 9 of this series and Silent Terror, p. 80.) If Lockshin were totally, completely isolated, how could the CIA-FSB nazis reliably learn of and timely counteract the target's (my) actions and ascertain and exploit my presumed vulnerabilities?

A few years ago, who should appear at my door but my grey-haired older biological sister Dorothy Naor (Frances Dorothy Lockshin Naor) and her husband Israel. Totally unannounced.

This malignant reprobate couple had travelled all the way from Israel to Moscow just to get a bead on me. Both of them were and are vicious CIA-Mossad agents, fake peace “activists” and lying “supporters” of Palestinian rights. To trap honest Israelis and Palestinians in the putrid imperialist net. The police state dictatorship system is operative not only in the US, but throughout the “civilized” capitalist world.

I slammed the door on them. Their duplicitous and evil CIA-organized trip had been in vain.

The unannounced, unexpected home visit or meeting (at an airport or simply on the street or wherever) is a favorite secret political police tactic to obtain information on the concerns, mood, plans etc. of the target. And sometimes to simply jar the victim. The main point is to obtain the spontaneous, unpremeditated – and thereby presumably genuine - reaction of the victim. Therefore these “visits” are generally not pre-announced.

This tactic, like almost any other, should not be utilized too often, or the target may begin to understand the pernicious purpose. Cost is not a problem for the US and the US-Russian Gestapo. In the case of the ultra-reactionary Naors, the CIA-FSB paid for their round-trip air ticket from Tel Aviv to Moscow and back, expensive board and lodging in the host city and some extra moolah for their “services” and time. Simply on the remote off-chance that I would somehow be hospitable and unload my feelings to them.

Nota bene: The vicious and extremely well-heeled psychological warriors are perfectly capable of engineering big, complex and sometimes seemingly unrelated episodes to obtain “intelligence” about the target and/or, more importantly, to push him in the desired direction. In a later post, I will give a concrete example of the intended suggestive impact on me of a “big event, ” seemingly totally unrelated to Lockshin, which was designed to motivate my suicide.

PS: it didn't work.

The internet – a worse than double edged sword...

I started using the internet, not at all unmindful of the fact that the main purposes of the web are to spread imperialist propaganda and to amass personal and political information on almost everyone in the world. The internet is the ideal Big-Brother-is-watching-you machine.

Still, I had and have no other means of communicating my ideas, so writing blogs has become my pastime. From the standpoint of the secret political police, they now have no other consistent way of keeping me in their sights. So they still allow me – with notable exceptions! (see below) - to post my thoughts. There is nothing sacred about this my “privilege,” however, and they can cut me off the internet completely if they choose. In fact, the scum snoopers-provocateurs-killers have already seriously curtailed my ability to communicate on the web.

There are other obstacles. The CIA-NSA-FSB or whichever of the massive secret political police outfits routinely block commentaries to my blogs. Freedom of the internet – Bullshit! Those tiny few responses that “somehow” emerge are commissioned by the American-Russian Gestapo to induce this or that feeling (usually self-negative) or response or reaction on my part. A form of psychological warfare on the net.

While the pigs are already well informed about my general politics (I make no attempts to hide my views!), they cannot know beforehand what initiatives I might undertake. Various devices are used to try and get me to express my feelings, mood, intentions etc.

In the US my younger biological brother Larry was particularly nasty to me and absolutely vicious towards his own Mother – on political police instructions. I studiously kept away from him, a successful (from all appearances) California attorney, during my last few years in the US. Thus I had had no contact with foul pig Larry for a good 35+ years.

Suddenly I received a “Hi, Arnie!” e-mail from rat Larry. “Just wanted to know how you were doing.”

I did not answer.

From time-to-time I receive unsolicited missives. It is quite straightforward to distinguish the good from the bad. The all-knowing US lie, spy, criminal, provocation, subversion and regime change, terror, drug-runnning, torture, war and mass murder apparatus with its traitorous Russian stooges do not want honest people communicating with me!

So occasionally some phony “sympathizer” or former school “chum” or young woman (hungry for my body??) seeks to set up chatting exchanges with me. All in the service of the Gestapo.

Cocaine Deaths Hit Record High; Next Wave Of Addiction Crisis Is Here

Stimulants such as methamphetamine and cocaine have triggered the next wave of the addiction crisis.

In the 12-month period ending in March 2018, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that overdose deaths from cocaine spiked 22% from prior year to 14,205.

Annual drug overdose data shows the addiction crisis has been developing for almost four decades, and the explosion in the rate of growth increased sharply after the financial crisis of 2007-2008 with the introduction of the opioid epidemic. In the 12-month period ending in March 2018, 46,655 people died from opioid overdoses.

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, cocaine overdose deaths could be connected to opioids. There has been a surge in drug users knowingly and unknowingly ingesting cocaine cut with synthetic opioids, which could explain the recent acceleration of cocaine deaths.

Historically, opioid epidemics are followed by a rise in the use of stimulants such as methamphetamine and cocaine. As people's heroine habits deepen they grow increasingly tolerant, cocaine comes in as a booster -- the speedball.

In 2016, more than 2 million people in the U.S. reported receiving medical treatment for drug abuse, including prescription drug misuse, or for medical problems associated with illicit drug use. The health crisis extends into the broader economy, particularly in the Rust Belt and Midwest regions, which are experiencing an addiction timebomb that detonated in the last two decades and has decimated the workforce.

The addiction is far from over and not limited to opioids, cocaine, and stimulants; methamphetamines are now killing more than 10,000 people a year, a surge that has only been observed in the last two years.


America's addiction crisis is not over; total overdoses are still at record levels; a surge in cocaine deaths has triggered the next wave.

More embassies under CIA control...

After my cancer surgery, I decided to try my luck with Silent Terror at another couple of foreign embassies in Moscow (see section 21 in this series).

I now gave the chances of getting my book published at less than 0.2%, but so what. These were essentially risk-free efforts on my part. Maybe, maybe I would break through.

In the fall of 2008, US imperialism, in concert with local reactionaries, was conspiring to divide up Bolivia, which was headed up by the progressive indigenous president Evo Morales. I thought this would be an appropriate time to offer up my anti-imperialist book as a gesture of support.

The secretary at the small Embassy (just an office) was a young Russian woman. I fairly knew right away that my efforts would go to naught; any Russian citizen working in any embassy would be selected by and be under the thumb of the toadying vicious FSB, meaning the vicious CIA.

I wasn't surprised. The secretary refused to even allow me to meet anyone at the Embassy.

The next day, she sent me by e-mail an “invitation” for a diplomatic event which had already transpired. This is characteristic of common CIA ploys, intended to discombobulate and demean the target.

A couple of years later, in November 2010, I made another effort, this time at the Venezuelan Embassy in Moscow. Not knowing whom I would meet there, I tried my hand at writing a letter to President Hugo Chavez in Spanish.

At first blush I detected no native Russian speakers at the Embassy: an encouraging sign. I was ushered in to meet an embassy official, who identified himself as Omar Espartaco Echeverria Mata,** Ministro Consejero, Republica Bolivariana de Venezuela, Embajada en la Federacion de Rusia.

Echeverria said he remembered my coming to the USSR in October 1986, as he was then a student at the Университет дружбы народов им. Патриса Лумумбы in Moscow. That was a bad sign, as that university, ostensibly a higher education institution to train pro-Soviet students mainly from the “Third World,” actually prepared these students for the CIA. I nonetheless continued the discussion and presented my letter:

“Muy estimado Presidente Chavez...

“Pido que Ud. ayude de imprimir en espanol 'El terror silencioso', que describe la persecucion y la campana de terror contra nosotros en los EE.UU. Esto libro explica mucho respecto a la guerra sicologica de los servicios de espionaje y provocacion (la CIA y el FBI) y la propaganda estadounidense.

“No quiero ningun dinero ni por tirada ni por cualquier uso del libro...”

Echeverria said that my letter in Spanish was perfectly clear and that he would do everything possible to expedite publishing Silent Terror in Venezuela. He handed me a phone number and asked me to contact him a couple of days later.

When I called the number as requested (from an outside phone, of course), a native Russian woman answered the phone. When I requested that she connect me with Echeverria, she was extremely hostile: “Его нет. Перезвоните!» she yelled at me. As if I had greatly offended her personally. When I tried to inquire when Echeverrira would be available, she slammed down the phone. I got the message, but still called again about a half hour later. Exactly the same extremely nasty response.

It was clear what was happening. The Venezuelan embassy official had given me a phone number that he knew would lead exactly to the insulting response I got.

End of the line.

Echeverria was/is a CIA stooge and the filthy, murderous CIA was/is in clear control of the Venezuelan Embassy in Moscow.

No surprise.

Nota bene 1: The Russian pronunciation of native and non-native speakers is almost always (I can think of no exceptions) readily noticeable. Someone like myself who has lived for many years in Russia can pick up the difference almost immediately.

When I speak of Russians at this or that embassy, I am in no way deprecating people of that nationality. The issue is an entirely different one: any Russian citizen working in any foreign embassy automatically has been selected by and is beholden to the FSB, which invariably means working on behalf of the CIA. Moreover, it may be assumed that any foreign agency or institution which hires CIA agents as part of its staff is itself controlled by US imperialism. Subsequent events proved that to be the case for all the foreign embassies I visited.


Nota bene 2: It is entirely reasonable to assume that the great majority of “Third World” (and not only “Third World”) foreign embassies are controlled by the CIA. The intelligentsia, including those who know foreign (for them) languages and who staff these embassies, are a pet target of western “intelligence” agencies Many (but not all!) intellectuals not only idolize the West, but no less importantly, seek personal advancement and benefits from imperialism. And the viciously corrupting CIA and its traitorous counterparts have beguiling money to burn.

Not infrequently, some ambassadors – as happened in Libya and then Syria – at a critical moment decry their “terrible” governments and, with accompanying publicity, “defect” to the side of imperialism. These traitors are simply CIA stooges who have been ordered to viciously castigate and abandon “their” governments with the aim of creating a cascade of imperialist-directed calumny against the target country.

The homelessness crisis in the United States is getting a lot worse, and it is happening at a pace that is absolutely frightening.

Did you realize that more than half a million Americans are homeless right now? One out of every four homeless Americans actually has a job, but thanks to rapidly rising housing prices they are not able to afford a place to live. So every night in this country, hundreds of thousands of people are sleeping in shelters, in their vehicles or on the streets. It is a national crisis that isn’t going away, and during the next economic downturn it is only going to intensify.

About a quarter of the homeless population is made up of children.

Homelessness in Los Angeles has risen by 50 percent… If the U.S. economy really was “booming”, the truth is that homelessness in Los Angeles would not be up by 50 percent.

Things are even worse in San Francisco. Thanks in large part to mountains of dirty needless and human feces, the city now spends 65 million dollars a year cleaning up the streets… San Francisco has become known as the human feces capital of the country.

Meanwhile, things have gotten so bad in Seattle that one official is proposing to spend 3 million dollars on a “mass shelter tent”…


In New York, the percentage of New York City students that are homeless has doubled over the last decade…

Roughly 10% of all students enrolled in NYC schools are homeless. Government studies have shown that students without homes are less likely to meet grade-level standards for reading and math, and graduate from high school on time.

And in New Jersey, homelessness is up 9 percent compared to last year…

The mainstream media keeps touting how well the U.S. economy is doing, but if that was really accurate we wouldn’t be seeing numbers like these. Most of the population has been struggling and the middle class continues to shrink. Sadly, we have gotten to a point where even the most basic housing is out of reach for many Americans…

The cost of living has been surging year after year, and our wages have not even come close to keeping up. Unfortunately, the homelessness crisis is likely to get a whole lot worse as the U.S. economy continues to deteriorate.

Saudi Wouldn't Have Killed Khashoggi Without US Approval

With roughly one week left before the US reimposes sanctions on Iranian exports that could hamper Iranian crude-oil exports, Hassan Rouhani, the president of the Islamic Republic, accused the US of officially sanctioning the murder of Saudi journalist-turned-critic Jamal Khashoggi, arguing that no country would carry out such a heinous crime "without the protection of America."

Reports that US intelligence agencies had intercepted communications about the plot to ambush Khashoggi suggest that the US had an idea that Khashoggi might be killed upon returning to the consulate. And knowing this, they did nothing to warn Khashoggi or the Saudis, despite Khashoggi's status as a US resident writing for a prominent national newspaper.

Rouhani said that such a brutal killing taking place at a foreign consulate was almost "unthinkable". "No one would imagine that in today’s world and a new century that we would witness such an organized murder and a system would plan out such a heinous murder," Rouhani said.
"I don’t think that any country would dare commit such a crime without the protection of America."

And as Rouhani pointed out, US protection has allowed KSA to continue its brutal bombing campaign in Yemen, while Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman has engaged in an authoritarian crackdown on domestic dissent. "If there was no American protection, would the people of Yemen still face the same brutal bombing?" Rouhani said.

Rouhani also declared that Iran would "defeat" US sanctions on Iranian exports.

NATO Sends 50,000 Troops To Largest Exercise Since Cold War

US Marines are landing in Iceland and warplanes are flying overhead in Scandinavia, just days ahead of the kickoff of Trident Juncture. The annual exercise, . focused on the Arctic Circle and Scandinavia, is set to be the largest operation since the Cold War

31 countries are involved, 29 NATO members and Finland and Sweden. They will overall be sending 50,000 troops, 10,000 vehicles, 150 warplanes and 65 ships.

Starting Thursday, the exercise will last a month.

And while officials insist it’s not strictly along the Russian border, Russian military officials say it is close enough, and clearly targeted at growing Russian interests in the Arctic Circle, as warmer temperatures open up new route.

All this talk from NATO about Russia not being the target doesn't hold water. Even if NATO says otherwise, this is really preparation for a large-scale armed conflict in regions bordering with the Russian Federation.

NATO officials are being two-faced about this, however, on the one hand insisting this is just an annual exercise, and on the other hand presenting it as a “response to Russian aggression,” the same excuse for every massive exercise along the Russian frontier.

Stepan Bandera’s legacy not only benefits from the ignorance engendered by today’s corporate media and politicians; he also, from the years of the Second World War up until his death, personally benefited from the aid of the American government. The US government’s assistance to Stepan Bandera extended up until the year of his death (1959).

The tumor had nearly completely obstructed my colon at the cecum. “Normal colonic caliber ranges from 3 to 8 cm, with the largest diameter in the cecum,” (Radiology, Volume 275, Issue 3, 2015)

This is the massive tumor that “could not be found” less than 4 months earlier at ГКБ № 55!

After the operation, one of the surgeons informed me that the tumor was as a big as a fist! And had extended all the way to the peritoneum. From what the surgeons said and the tone of their voices, it appeared that the long-term and even medium-term prognoses were not favorable.

Histology confirmed that I had had a moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma — that is, cancer. At least one adjacent lymph node had been entirely engulfed by tumor; all the node's normal cells had been replaced by malignant ones.

Histochemical analysis on my tumor sections determined that putative occult micrometastases should be sensitive to combination chemotherapy of 5-fluorouracil ** + oxaliplatin. I geared up for a 6-session course of adjuvant chemotherapy and periodic analyses to check for the appearance of distant metastases. No evident metastases so far, no complications, no unexpected toxicities.

I consider myself very lucky.

I am deeply grateful to the honest and highly competent doctors and medical personnel who – unpoisoned by the fascist CIA-FSB - provided excellent treatment and undoubtedly saved my life.

The insidious murder plot against me failed. Up to now, at least.

What I had endured was a murder scheme. No other conclusion is possible.

Let us review the circumstances.

The old and ugly snitch дежурный had informed the police/FSB that an ambulance had come for me. It was easy for the CIA-ass-licking FSB traitors to determine where I had been taken.

My symptoms on presentation strongly suggested cancer. The mass-torturing, mass-murdering CIA through its stooge FSB lackeys ordered presumptive biological son, Judas Michael to make an exact personal identification to ensure that the murder plot would not be wasted on the wrong victim.

The fact that my own “family” was involved in the plot is hardly unusual. In the US, my Mother and I had suffered at the hands of our closest relatives; in Russia, it was the same for me. The basic systems in the US and Russia, after all, are identical. SOP: standard operating procedure.

The FSB then sent a fuckhead prick into my hospital room to distract and agitate me, but mainly to continuously spy and relay my reactions and thoughts.

When I expressed doubts to my honest hospital roommate about the bogus “red meat” prescription for my illness, the fuckhead prick reported what I said to the nazi doctors, eliciting a nasty and lying “Мы лечим Вас как положено» outburst from one of them. This whore-doctor, by the way, did not convince me.

The Auschwitz witches-doctors, coerced and paid off by the fascist FSB, were instructed to falsely “diagnose” my probable cancer with the aim of delaying urgently needed treatment as long as possible. Where cancer is concerned, it is well known that prompt treatment, especially surgery,
can prove the difference between cure and death. The greater the delay, the greater the chance of ultimately lethal metastases developing. The Auschwitz witches-doctors emphatically urged me to wait indefinitely for the fake “malnutrition” to pass.

As a result and in spite of my continued determined efforts to find the real cause of my increasingly severe illness, essential surgical removal of the aggressive malignant tumor was delayed for almost 4 months.

The Staggering Numbers Behind America's Opioid Epidemic

Drug overdoses are the leading cause of death for Americans under the age of 50, who are now more likely to die from a drug overdose than from car accidents or firearms. The United States has the dubious distinction of having the highest percentage of drug-related deaths in the world.

A sharp increase in prescribed opioid-based painkillers and the rise of illegal fentanyl – which is up to 50 times stronger than heroin – has unleashed the worst public health crisis in American history.

Beginning in the 1980s, prescription opioids like oxycodone and hydrocodone were heavily marketed as a treatment for pain, and at the time, the risk of addiction to these substances was downplayed. Opioid prescriptions nearly tripled between 1991 and 2011.

Sales of these powerful painkillers are beginning to drop, in part because the risk of addiction has now been widely publicized. Another decelerating factor is the crackdown on clinics and pharmacies that were over-dispensing painkillers, in some cases directly feeding the elicit drug market.

In 2015, nearly 100 million Americans were prescribed painkillers by their doctor. This abundance of pills impacts the community at large when excess pills are sold, stolen, or simply given to others. In fact, receiving painkillers from a friend or family member was the most common gateway to abusing opioids.
FENTANYL IS KILLING A LOT OF PEOPLE. If doctors have been prescribing opioids for decades, what is causing this recent spike in overdoses? The answer, for the most part, is fentanyl.

This synthetic opioid presents a problem because it’s extremely potent – it only takes about 2 milligrams to overdose on the drug. Since much of the fentanyl on the market is sourced illegally, doses can and do exceed this amount on a regular basis.
As a result, overdose deaths related to opioids have skyrocketed in recent years.

OVERDOSES ARE THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG. The thousands of overdose deaths around the country are the most extreme symptom of the opioid epidemic, but the problem runs much deeper.

In 2017, there were over 11 million “opioid misusers” in the United States. To put that number in perspective, that’s equivalent to the entire population of Ohio. In fact, the problem is so widespread, that it’s suspected to be influencing workforce participation rates.

The health care burden of the crisis is also staggering. The cost of opioid abuse ranges from $10,000 to $20,000 in annual medical costs per patient.

The hard truth is that the opioid epidemic is projected to claim more than 500,000 lives over the next decade.

The two doctors treating me were none too friendly. Although diagnostic procedures on me had hardly started, both of them had “concluded” that my problem was anemia due to malnutrition caused by a lack of sufficient fresh red meat in my diet.

I am not a big meat eater. Not a vegetarian to be sure, but I've always preferred fresh fruits and vegetables. For many years, no problem. Why would my metabolism change so dramatically? My radical diminution of appetite and sharp and sudden weight loss strongly suggested a gastrointestinal problem of considerable severity.

Both doctors emphatically rejected these considerations. At my suggestion that I may be suffering from a malignancy, they seemed to treat cancer as some exotically rare and obscure disease that hardly warranted consideration.

A couple of days later I spoke of these concerns with my congenial first hospitable roommate. A little while later, the younger doctor burst into the room livid, as if I had pulled a Donald Trump and grabbed her pussy. She had been informed that I still thought that cancer might be the root of my illness. “Мы лечим Вас как положено» - she fairly screamed at me.

Why such overt hostility? A patient has no right to reflect on his own condition?

After three weeks in the hospital, the doctors had their final verdict: “Диагноз при выпыске: Хроническая железодефицитная анемия»

And the Выписной эпикриз contained these “beauties”:

“Живот мягкий» - a lie!

On handing me this death warrant, the senior doctor insisted that my “malnutrition-causing anemia” would take many, many months to “cure.” “Надо потерпеть» - she emphasized.

The worst possible advice to offer someone with an aggressive malignancy...

Back home, I bought expensive (by рынок standards) meat and ate what I could, nausea notwithstanding. I daily went to a nearby McDonalds and forced myself to eat a Big Mac or even something meatier. I faithfully took the recommended medication.

But my symptons did not improve. In fact, I was in even worse shape. My hemoglobin remained at very low levels and I could only walk 30 steps or so before I had to stop and rest. I continued to lose weight. Bowel movements became increasingly difficult.

I kept going to doctors, searching for an answer. I believed even more strongly that cancer was the culprit, but I witnessed repeatedly that other physicians took the rotten эпикриз ГКБ № 55 at face value, assuming that cancer as a probable cause had been excluded at the hospital. And I had to go scurrying in various directions to search for the answer. “Scurrying” is not the proper word, as I was having trouble just getting around. But using the phone was excluded, as the CIA-FSB intercept every call I make.

The first breakthrough came when a radiologist noted that radioactive barium sulfate progressed very, very slowly through my GI tract, suggesting a partial obstruction. “Не могу исключить рак» - she told me.

Then a urologist-consultant, after palpating my abdomen for no more than 30 seconds, located the tumor which the doctors at ГКБ № 55 «could not find.” The lump by this time had become sore to the touch. He emphasized that this “шишка» was the source of my problems. “This patient's illness is not urological,” he wrote in his notes.

Then a hematologist, through a series of blood and ultrasound analyses inferred that I had a serious life-threatening malignancy. “Time is not your friend,” she correctly warned.

After examining me, a proctologist immediately arranged for my admission to a hospital for further evaluation and possible surgery.

"Typhus Zone" Underscores Skid Row Squalor in Los Angeles

San Francisco's poo and needle-filled streets have competition for the state's most squalid, as LA's skid row - home to over 4,000 transients, is now a "typhus zone."

Situated among wholesale fish distributors and produce warehouses, skid row spans approximately 54 square blocks in downtown Los Angeles - and has become a breeding ground for rats and other vermin, which have contributed to Los Angeles County's typhus outbreak which began this summer.

Uneaten food is dumped on the street — a salad platter was recently splattered on the asphalt — and discarded clothing piles up only to be swirled into rats' nests. Those rats are contributing to the growing number of typhus infections cropping up on skid row and other parts of the region. The disease is spread by fleas, which are carried by rats, opossums and pets.

Typhus infections can cause high fever, headache, chills - and in rare or untreated cases, meningitis and death. It is contracted when the "feces from infected flease are rubbed into cuts or scrapes in trhe skin or rubbed into the eyes," according to the county health department.


"With increased rat density, diseases like typhus are very likely to occur," according to Dr. Lee W. Riley - an infectious disease specialist at the UC Berkeley.

It was early summer 2007. My health had taken a decisive turn for the worse.

I couldn't walk more than 20 meters without pausing to regain my breath and strength. A neighbor noted how pale I had become.

My appetite was shot. I gladly skipped entire meals; I did not even like entering the kitchen. My weight loss was dramatic.

Ignoring the problems became no longer possible. I made it to a doctor. who said I was clearly anemic and ordered blood analyses.

A few days later the results came back. The doctor was fairly horrified; my hemoglobin count was less than half the normal level for an adult male. Such an ultra-low level might even be life-threatening, she announced. The nurse ordered an ambulance (скорая помощь) for immediate hospitalization.


I made it back home and packed a few things. In about a half an hour the ambulance took me away. I landed in the 3 терепевтическое отделение ГКБ (Городской клинической больницы) № 55.

I am not a medical doctor. But with a doctorate (Ph.D) in biochemistry (University of Wisconsin, Madison), I had been involved in cancer research in the US and Russia for several years. Thus I am more knowledgeable about cancer than the average lay person.

Considering the situation, I strongly suspected that the source of my severe problem was a malignant tumor in my GI (gastrointestinal) tract. That concern was amplified by the fact that on my Mother's side of the family, there was a sad history of lethal cancer, including colon cancer.

At first, there were only two of us in the hospital room. My roommate was a congenial middle-aged fellow who, unfortunately, had a very serious heart condition.

Later that day, who walks into the ward but presumptive biological son Michael. He explains that he just wanted “to know how I was doing.” More than strange. This CIA-FSB stooge could care less whether I was sick, dying, dead or whatever. I had not once seen nor heard from him for a good 4 years (and I have neither seen nor heard from him even once in the 11-plus years following this unexpected “visit”).

Moscow is a big city. I had never been in this hospital before. How did the rat find me?

Not hard to decipher. The дежурный – like all the previous apartment monitors in my building – is a dedicated rotten snitch who regularly reports on my comings and goings to the police/FSB. Normally I cannot enter or exit the building without her observing me.

An ambulance came for Lockshin. The стукач дежурный immediately informed the Gestapo.

From that point on, the “discovery” of Arnold Lockshin was straightforward. The police/secret political police contacted the ambulance dispatcher and readily found out where Lockshin had been delivered.

Then it was no problem for the CIA-ass-licking FSB to contact rat Michael and instruct him to call in on me.

The very next day, the third bed in our room was filled. The new room-mate appeared to be in fine health. He was purportedly hospitalized to check out a heart-beat irregularity.

The new hospital roommate (whose name I forget, but it may not have been his real moniker in any case) quickly zeroed in on me to insistently push strident anti-communist views and laud the “democratic” West. With all due respect, I was not in the hospital to fight off an obnoxious ultra-reactionary, and after a day of his near-continual ranting, I told him to can it – at least as far as I was concerned.

Убийство саудовского журналиста обнажило алчность Вашингтона

Чудовищное преступление – убийство и расчленение трупа журналиста прямо в саудовском консульстве – вызвало на редкость мягкую реакцию США. Трамп поверил на слово оправданиям Эр-Рияда по этому поводу. Тем самым, казалось бы, упустил прекрасную возможность вступиться за права журналистов и человека в целом. Однако на кону стоит сделка стоимостью больше ста миллиардов долларов.

Президент США Дональд Трамп принял официальную версию Эр-Рияда о том, что журналист Джамаль Хашукджи был убит в саудовском консульстве в Стамбуле в результате конфликта и завязавшейся драки. Трамп назвал эту версию «заслуживающей доверия».

В то же время Трамп признался в нежелании отменять оружейный контракт с Саудовской Аравией на 110 млрд долларов. Эта сделка была заключена в прошлом году. Она включает продажу самолетов, вертолетов, кораблей, бомб с высокоточным управлением, зенитно-ракетных комплексов THAAD и Patriot. В ближайшее десятилетие сделки между США и Саудовской Аравией могут быть доведены до 350 млрд долларов.

Журналиста поджидали в консульстве 15 саудовских агентов (они прилетели в Стамбул на двух самолетах), в том числе судмедэксперт, который после произошедшего быстро и профессионально расчленил тело.

Эксперты тоже сходятся во мнении, что реакция Трампа на официальное заявление монархии стала проявлением двойных стандартов и желанием не потерять рынок сбыта для военной продукции.

Foreign embassies controlled by the CIA (1)...


It was early fall, 2004. By successfully renewing my passport, I had successively averted the coup de grace planned by the CIA-FSB. Simultaneously I had brushed aside the Sword of Damocles hanging over my head in the person of the filthy CIA whore pretending to be my wife.

I had hung on to sufficient funds to survive for some years even if the Russian CIA-controlled secret political police squashed my Russian pension – in parallel with the US secret political police denial of my Social Security retirement benefits (see my series Тайная полиция США ворует пенсию по старости - The US Secret Political Police Are Stealing My Social Security Retirement Benefits). The pernicious court suit brought by the elder of my presumptive biological sons, CIA stooge Jeffrey – and supported by all the other members of my vicious “family” - had not achieved its intended effect of driving me to absolute poverty and certain death.

Fine. But I certainly had not broken through politically. In Russia, with the massive, suffocating control of the CIA-ass-licking FSB traitors, hopes of breaking through were (and still are) essentially nil. Here I had nowhere to go with the extensive knowledge I had accumulated about mass murdering US imperialism and its enormous control over key institutions of Russian society and political life. Still, I was in Russian for good. I had no intention of moving anywhere else – as I shall indicate below, that would have been impossible anyhow.

But maybe, maybe there was a different way; my book Silent Terror.

In spite of determined and comprehensive CIA-KGB sabotage, I had succeeded in getting Silent Terror published both in the English original and in a Russian translation that was far from perfect but nonetheless readable. The wrecking campaign against the book (see posts Горбачев и ЦРУ-КГБ против Арнольда Локшина, части 9-12) was one of the highlights – but far from the only one! - of the CIA-KGB crusade to drive me back to the US. Where I undoubtedly would have been killed (see posts 4-8 in this series).

I had learned considerably more since writing Silent Terror, but it was still a valuable book which had and has no parallels. Moreover, it was the only “weapon” I had.

Maybe the socialist (or at least, attempting to be socialist under very difficult circumstances) Cuban government would translate Silent Terror into Spanish and distribute it widely. I could not travel to that country, but there was a Cuban embassy right here in Moscow.

I gave myself a less-than-2% chance that I would have any success, but what the hey.

I assumed that if not all, then the great majority of foreign embassies – including the Cuban, of course - were pussy cats for the CIA. For instance, in 2004 I knew what I did not know in 1986, that the USSR Mission to the U.N. – where I first made inquiries about political asylum in the Soviet Union (Silent Terror, p. 44) – and the USSR Consulate to the U.S. in Washington, DC (Silent Terror, p. 52) were both run by CIA stooges.

Why would the Cuban Embassy in Moscow be any different?

I went there anyway. What's to lose?

Initially I was received by a young Cuban woman at the consulate building – a side house of the embassy. My knowledge of Spanish was too weak to carry out a discussion in that language. An interpreter popped up; a Russian woman.

Bad, bad news immediately. Why? Because any Russian citizen working in any embassy would have to be a FSB fink, that is to say a CIA fink. Whatever I would have to say would immediately go the Russian secret political police and through them to the US Gestapo.

The Cuban consulate person then stole one of the items I had brought along to substantiate my case. Theft was another bad sign. She referred me to Embassy itself right next door.

I repeated my story there to one Oscar Santana Leon, Primer Secretario, Embajada de la Republica de Cuba.* We spoke for about 30 minutes; he was reasonably fluent in Russian. I left copies of Silent Terror in English and Russian and a letter I had addressed to President Fidel Castro (whom I knew spoke some English):

“The main purpose of my letter is to request that Silent Terror be printed in Cuba in the Spanish language and be given the widest possible distribution.

“I do NOT want any money for reprinting Silent Terror in Spanish or for any other use of this book. It is out of deep political conviction that I ask you to reprint this book...”

It stands to reason that Fidel Castro never received my letter, and as I anticipated, my offer went absolutely nowhere. By criteria which I will not describe here, it became absolutely certain that the entire Cuban Embassy in Moscow was under the control of the CIA. Including Santana Leon, of course - but not only him.

That could only happen if the CIA had wide control of critically important elements of the Cuban government and Cuban society. Behind the backs, of course, of the great revolutionary leaders of that brave country.

I am not optimistic about the future prospects of socialism in Cuba.

The CIA-controlled USSR Consulate in Washington, DC supported my emigration to the Soviet Union because that was the US secret political police game plan (see sections 4-8 of this series). The CIA-controlled Cuban Embassy in Moscow, however, would never have facilitated my emigration to Cuba had I made that request. My sole request was publishing Silent Terror.

The Pozner-АиФ diatribe (section 15) against me now comes into clearer focus. Had everything gone as the CIA-FSB had planned, the article's suggestion about my emigrating to Cuba would have hit doubly hard. The Cuban CIA gusanos bastards would have made that travel absolutely impossible, and Lockshin – by plan totally destitute and despairing in Moscow and with all avenues of escape or relief blocked – only had the “choice” of suicide.

The Pozner-АиФ piece likewise incriminates the Moscow Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as being CIA-controlled. I did not go there (I know some Spanish but no Korean at all), so I cannot speak with certainty. But it does not look good for that embassy.

Угрозы миру обретают всё более конкретные очертания

Ленты новостей переполнены сюжетом «Трамп заявил о выходе США из Договора о ракетах средней и меньшей дальности».

Ситуация выглядит чудовищной. Ядерная держава, один из двух участников одного из основополагающих соглашений в сфере стратегической стабильности, в одностороннем порядке его уничтожает.

Если это действительно произойдёт, последствия и правда окажутся катастрофическими.

Во-первых, с военной точки зрения. Для США окажется возможным размещать ракеты наземного базирования дальностью до 5.5 тысяч км (сейчас запрещено Договором) в непосредственной близости от российских границ (аналогичная возможность в отношении США откроется и для России, но об обеих перспективах даже подумать страшно, Карибский кризис в памяти). Причём, речь пойдёт о Польше и странах Балтии, а это плюсом в сотни километров с точки зрения угроз для территории нашей страны.

Но ещё хуже во-вторых. Прекращение действия ДРСМД уничтожит любые перспективы продления Договора о стратегических наступательных вооружениях, действие которого истекает в 2021 году. А там и до разрушения системы договоренностей о нераспространении ядерного оружия рукой подать. Человечеству угрожает полный хаос в сфере ядерного оружия.

Россия и США обвиняют друг друга в несоблюдении Договора. Но если наши претензии носят конкретный и содержательный характер (ПРО в Польше и Румынии, ракеты, используемые в качестве учебных целей, тяжёлые беспилотники), то американские – абстрактный. Никогда эти претензии не находили подтверждения на уровне экспертов, работающих в рамках предусмотренной Договором Специальной контрольной комиссии. Никогда. Россия всегда соблюдала и будет и впредь безукоризненно соблюдать ДРСМД. Об этом должны знать и американцы, и все человечество, безопасность которого зависит в том числе от судьбы ДРСМД.

Если вчитываться в текст заявления Трампа, там появляется существенное «если». Американцы не выйдут из ДРСМД, если Россия и Китай согласятся его модернизировать. В части России это либо незнание Договора, либо игра на публику: 16-я статья прямо предусматривает, что «Каждая из Сторон может предлагать поправки к настоящему Договору». Однако никаких предложений на этот счёт американцы нам не передавали.

Вне всякого сомнения, американцы ищут любые возможности для разрушения выработанной в годы «холодной войны» системы договоренностей по балансу ядерных сил в мире. США более не нужен баланс сил. Американцы добиваются одностороннего военного превосходства в сфере ядерных и обычных вооружений с тем, чтобы навязывать миру свою волю и свои интересы. Началось в 2002 году с разрушения Договора по ПРО, продолжается и по сих пор, в том числе через расширение НАТО. По сути это односторонняя агрессия.

Теперь западным союзникам США предстоит выбор: либо пойти путём, возможно, ведущим к новой войне, либо встать на сторону здравого смысла, исходя хотя бы из инстинкта самосохранения. Ведь в ядерном конфликте, который после одностороннего разрешения США Договора о ракетах средней и меньшей дальности станет значительно ближе, сохраниться удастся мало кому.

Ситуация критична, угрозы миру обретают всё более конкретные очертания.
