Ukraine Begins Large Air Force Exercises With NATO To "Protect The Airspace" From Russia

The the United States is now treating Ukraine as if it were a NATO member as Washington donated to Ukraine two warships on September 27th for use against Russia. And now Ukraine has announced the start of joint military exercises involving NATO countries.

What's been dubbed the Clear Sky 2018 operation in the west of Ukraine kicked off on Monday and will center on air defense operations in order to "protect the airspace" from Russia. The war games will include the participation of the US military and several other NATO nations, including bordering nations Poland and Romania, as well as Britain and the Netherlands.

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine described the event as a "multinational military exercise focusing on promoting peace and security" — however, we highly doubt that it's peace that will be the lasting result of this.

The US Air Force will have a heavy role with F-15C Eagle fighter planes and C-130J Super Hercules military transport planes and drones involved in guided training exercises leading about 30 Ukrainian aircraft, according to an official government ministry statement.

And further according to a Ukrainian air force official Polish and Romanian aircraft will participate for "the first time" in a joint show "to protect the airspace."

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry was further keen on signalling Russia that Kiev is feeling emboldened to have American military hardware patrolling the skies: "The personnel and the aircrafts of the Ukrainian Air Force were redeployed to the Starokonstantinov airfield. A significant event was the arrival of the F-15 aircrafts of the 144th Fighter Wing of the California Air National Guard," a statement said.

Since fighting between pro-Russian and pro-Western forces erupted in 2014, over 10,000 Ukrainians have been killed. Kiev officials have constantly hyped the treat of an imminent Russian military invasion and even suggested the possibility of a World War 3 scenario between the West and Russia centered over Ukrainian territory.

Aerial exercises involving NATO planes above Ukraine will be the most contentious show of force yet.

Russian citizenship – a life and death question...


At the start, I was not overly eager to become a Soviet citizen. I well knew that I could not possibly return to the United States, but I thought my best course of action as an outspoken American dissident would be to retain my US identification.

As the harassment against me intensified, I seriously began to explore the question of Soviet citizenship. The officials in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Society, who were supposed to be assisting us in Moscow, did all they could to discourage me. As an official political emigre, I was advised, I had all the rights of a Soviet citizen except the vote. Why become a citizen?

After a few months, I broke completely with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Society because of their continual deliberate bungling and dishonesty, all - it needs to be said - under CIA-KGB direction.

When I clearly saw the writing on the wall, i.e., that the Soviet Union was doomed, the question of my citizenship assumed much greater urgency. It was clear that the demagogic and ruthless anti-communist Yeltsin clique of bought-and-paid-for US mercenary-stooges was about to come to power. Would these ultra-reactionaries revoke my political emigre status and force me back to the United States? That would be the end of the line for Arnold Lockshin. Back “home,” the monstrous and utterly vicious US lie, spy, criminal, provocation, subversion and regime change, terror, drug-runnning, torture, war and mass murder thugs would simply kill me.

I hunted down the appropriate governmental office where I could formally apply for Soviet citizenship. For months after I had filled out the necessary forms, nothing happened. Repeat visits to the authorities accomplished nothing. I started mailing out appeals and requesting articles in the remaining ostensibly pro-Soviet media; still no movement on my application.


The future was definitely bleak, but this was no occasion to become discouraged. I spoke before audiences where and when I could find them, warning about the impending disaster awaiting the end of the USSR and appealing for support in my citizenship drive. My article “Путь к бедствию» was published in the more-or-less mass circulation newspaper Советская Россия (26 июня 1991г.)


Where to find allies? I spoke before the Инициативный съезд коммунистов России in Leningrad, hoping to find genuine communists there (“Не зови меня в даль светлую», Российская газета 23 апреля 1991г.), What I found instead was a fake secret political police gaggle, analogous to the phony “Communist Party USA” in the States.


I regularly began collecting signatures on a petition appealing for citizenship at the Lenin Museum near the Kremlin. Nazis, including “Русское национальное единство”, and other КГБ-ФСБ-stooge anti-semites harassed and threatened me.

As I was still fairly well known in Moscow, a few others assisted in the signature collection. About 10,000 – 20,000 signatures were collected overall.

In spite of the highly unusual and newsworthy nature of my citizenship campaign, it was largely ignored by the establishment – now vociferously anti-communist – mass media. Вечерняя Москва deigned to publish a couple of mocking articles about my efforts, including one headlined “Кто поможет бедному американцу» (Вечерний клуб, 05 мая 1992г.)

The great “democrat” Михаил Горбачев had refused to grant me Soviet citizenship. Eventually the CIA-FSB decided it was better to allow me to become a Russian citizen than to continue being a “cause,” and in August 1992 Ельцин issued a указ (decree) «О приеме в гражданство Российской Федерации Локшина А.

Proof of good intentions? Don't count on it!

The CIA and its lackeys prefer to attack, of course, but they are also perfectly capable of orderly retreats if necessary or even just preferable. “Tactical, temporary retreats also help obscure the overall pattern of the psychological warfare campaign.” (Silent Terror, p. 86)

Why retirees should feel very worried right now

Retirement’s big three—pensions, savings, Social Security—are under stress.

Most Americans haven’t benefited much. 54% of middle-income households don’t have enough saved to maintain a decent retirement. That’s according to a study by the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College.

Why have so many Americans been left out? The study blames the usual culprits: high debt, surging and often unforeseen health care costs, and investment mistakes.

Since 2009, there were two devastating crashes within the space of a decade: 2000 to 2002, when the S&P 500 fell 49% over 30 months and an even bigger disaster between 2007-09, when the S&P 500 plunged a staggering 56% in just 17 months.

Some investors got burned in the first crash; others, who loaded up on things like housing and mortgage lenders, got nailed by the second one. Some poor souls, no doubt, were hit twice.

Keep in mind, the Boston College data point above focuses on middle-income households. Lower income households are in even more precarious shape. For both groups—which comprise the bulk of the U.S. population—there are no easy answers. Consider that if retirement used to be considered a three-legged stool—comprised of a pension, Social Security and personal savings—then all three aren’t what they used to be. Just 9% of workers in their 50s have a pension, for example, down from about 25% three decades ago, and 46% don’t even participate in a retirement plan at work. Savings are meager, and as we’ve warned before, the Trump administration says unless something is done to shore up Social Security, payouts could be cut about 21% come 2034—which is closer than it sounds.

All of this suggests that uncomfortable choices loom on the horizon: Working longer. Accepting a lower standard of living. Perhaps both.

Why didn't I catch on to Lauren Brown's perfidy and treachery early on?

(1) Because I was not born with my current knowledge of psychological warfare and the gruesome machinations of imperialism. Gaining these insights took many years of experience, study – and struggle.

(2) Because the worldwide imperialist US-run Gestapo has enormous experience and funds at its disposal. The provocations and cover-ups are clever and often hit the victim when and where he least expects them.

The first impressions presented by an attractive young woman can be profound and lasting:

“Psychological warfare organizers attach great importance to creating the desired first impressions, because they tend to last in unwitting victims.

“'Findings produced by researchers in the areas of social psychology and communication theory have shown that once communication has been successfully used to convince a person of something, a type of “prejudice” takes place. The person thus persuaded then has a tendency to ignore that which tends to discredit it.'” (Undercover Operations and Persuasion, Randolph D. Hicks II, 1973, p. 20) (In Silent Terror, p. 88)

3) Because the vicious secret political police resorted to devious and sometimes dramatic devices to establish my “wife” as a co-victim. Notable is the following incident:

“An ever more frightening scene was played out one rainy afternoon when Lauren was home alone. The doorbell rang. Lauren looked through the eye of the door to see Jehle (our extremely hostile across-the-street neighbor) standing holding something in his hands. As she cautiously opened the door, Jehle uncovered the object – revealing a gun. He cocked the weapon and pointed it directly at Lauren's head.

“'I don't want any trouble around here,' he threatened.

“Alarmed, Lauren asked if the gun was loaded. Jehle glared fiercely and hissed: 'Of course, it's loaded!' Fearing for her life, Lauren screamed at him to get off our property and slammed the door as hard as she could.

“The March 1987 issue of Life magazine contains a photo of a proud Jehle (spelled “Jahle' in this article) standing with a .38 caliber pistol across the street from our former home (Photo 10). In this article, he admits confronting Lauren with a loaded gun...” (see Silent Terror, p. 33.)

At the time, I was miles away in the laboratory; I did not and was not supposed to witness this “incident.” In Silent Terror, I wrote about it as Lauren dictated.

What intrigued me was why a major US publication would vividly “confirm” this apparently frightening episode, publishing an actual photo of a proud Jehle holding his gun.

Such public acknowledgement of political police-directed threats and terror is not at all what the US Gestapo likes to do. These vicious monsters far prefer denying wrongdoing and hiding to the greatest degree possible their cruel machinations. And publications like Life are themselves the faithful lying servants of the horrific US lie, spy, criminal, provocation, subversion and regime change, terror, drug-runnning, torture, war and mass murder apparatus.

In reality, Lauren Brown was not threatened by Jehle or anyone else. She was a dirty tool of the US secret political police, not a victim. Brown was a false victim. *

The aim of this masquerade was to reinforce the image of my “wife” as a co-victim of the terror campaign waged in earnest against me. According to plan, I would rely on her as a reliable and loving “helpmate” in a very difficult, taxing and worrisome struggle.

The strange Life magazine photo was intended to “verify” her story and “prove” - to me, first of all - that slut Brown was, like me, also under attack.

A sinister psychological warfare ruse. But effective.

Effective, but not permanent.

* Creating a false victim is a widespread tactic of US imperialist psychological warriors. The television channel RT, for instance is entirely a CIA production, but it has been forced in the US to register as a “foreign agent.” Allegedly RT played an important role in the 2016 presidential elections in the United States, helping to elect Donald Trump as president.

This has made the Russian Federation, and especially President Vladimir Putin, virtually enemy number one in US ruling circles. The loud measures against fake victim RT are nothing other than a vehicle for pernicious US imperialist propaganda.

Trump is stealing America blind

More than at any time in history, the president of the United States is actively using the power and prestige of his office to line his own pockets: landing loans for his businesses, steering wealthy buyers to his condos, securing cheap foreign labor for his resorts, preserving federal subsidies for his housing projects, easing regulations on his golf courses, licensing his name to overseas projects, even peddling coffee mugs and shot glasses bearing the presidential seal. For Trump, there has proved to be no public policy too big, and no private opportunity too crass to exploit for personal profit.

Nowhere has the self-enrichment been more evident than at his Washington hotel, which quickly filled up with the very lobbyists and swamp creatures Trump had railed against during his campaign. Oil companies, mining interests, insurance executives, foreign diplomats, and defense contractors all rushed to book their annual conferences at Trump’s hotels and resorts, where Cabinet members graciously addressed them. After hiking the nightly rate to $653 — 32 percent higher than other local luxury hotels — Trump collected $2 million in profits from the property during his first three months in office. By last August, the hotel’s bar and restaurant had hauled in another $8 million in revenue.

In fact, although Trump refuses to disclose the details of his myriad business operations, he continues to enjoy access to every dime he makes as president. Instead of setting up a blind trust to avoid conflicts of interest, as other presidents have done, Trump put his two grown sons in charge of his more than 500 business entities. His sons regularly brief Trump about how the enterprises are doing, enabling him to personally monitor how his decisions in office affect his bottom line. What’s more, only 15 days after this “eyes wide open” trust was set up, Trump amended the fine print to allow him to take money out of the operation any time he pleases. The loophole, buried on page 161 of the 166-page form, stipulates that any “net income or principal” can be distributed to Trump “at his request.”

Trump’s children are working hard to cash in on his time in office — especially with foreign investors. At taxpayer expense, they have flown to Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, Dubai, and India in search of licensing and real-estate deals, trading on the president’s influence in exchange for investments. But the biggest complication of Trump’s presidency — and the one he works hardest to keep secret — is the way his entire business operation is mired in massive debt. Rather than being independently wealthy, public records show, Trump and the business partnerships in which he is a leading investor owe big banks and foreign governments at least $2.3 billion — far more than his disclosure reports indicate. His largest single loan — for nearly $1 billion — is from a syndicate assembled by Goldman Sachs that includes the state-owned Bank of China.

What has taken place is 501 days of official corruption, from small-time graft and brazen influence peddling to full-blown raids on the federal Treasury. Given how little Trump has disclosed about his finances, this timeline of self-dealing is undoubtedly only a fraction of the corruption that will eventually come to light. But as even this initial glimpse makes clear, Trump isn’t draining the swamp — he’s monetizing it.

Let us continue examining matters issue by issue.

My “family” (2)


Let us repeat the question: What would impel/compel a young woman (23 years old when we married) to become a CIA-FBI-cohorts' long-term prostitute?

Whoring is not rare in the US. It is estimated that over one million women in the United States have worked as prostitutes (Prostitution in The United States - The Statistics, accessed Aug. 28, 2013).

But in Lauren Brown's case, hers was not a 15 minute in-and-out episode or a one-night stand. Her rotten prostitution was a commitment for years. With children involved.

Since this devil's bargain was made before we met, I cannot know the details, but can only provide a reasonable possible explanation.

Some time after we were married, it emerged in conversations that earlier Lauren was a female “companion” for the Miami (Florida) mob. Unpleasant news, but I opined at the time that she had “gone straight” and had become my wife. Naive Arnold thought “bygones are bygones.”


Being in and around organized crime is a rough business, of course. The mafia is involved in all sorts of nasty things, like extortion, protection racketeering, larceny, insurance theft, drugs, money laundering, swindling... and murder. It is entirely probable that whore Lauren Brown had been involved in such nefarious activities, perhaps as the sex setup for major crimes, even murder. Or given her loathsome associations and repugnant fecal acts, she may have susceptible for easy framing anyway and could have been sent away for a long time. In any case, the US Gestapo made her an “offer” she could not refuse.


Pure speculation? Only partially. The details are not overly important. What is perfectly clear is that the US secret political police are fully capable of coercing and exacting “cooperation” on this kind of basis. The American Gestapo is as ruthless and murderous as it needs to be, and bending a gangster moll to its evil designs is perfectly acceptable.


Plus there would be personal financial rewards and an easy life for slut Brown, especially in the by-and-by. As is the norm for collaborators with the American secret political police (see my post “Dictatorship USA – Part 9B” - “Full-time collaborators”).


What I now know for sure is that Lauren Brown was not “turned” nor “persuaded” to betray me at some point after our marriage, nor after we emigrated to the Soviet Union. She was a rotten whore, a filthy CIA stooge from the get-go.


There was yet another factor in her “cooperation.” The link with Arnold Lockshin was expected to be over after just a few years.


After all, Lockshin was supposed to be dead 30 years ago.

Declassified Cables Reveal US Plan To Nuke Vietnam

Recently declassified documents from the Vietnam era reveal that the United States' top military commander in Saigon activated a plan in 1968 to place nuclear weapons in South Vietnam
.

The commander, Gen. William C. Westmoreland, had been preparing the nuclear option in secret - drafting plans to have nuclear weapons on hand in case American forces should find themselves near-defeat in the battle of Khe Sanh - one of the most gruesome battles in the war.

“Should the situation change dramatically, we should be prepared to introduce weapons of greater effectiveness against massed forces,” General Westmoreland wrote in a cable. “Under such circumstances, I visualize that either tactical nuclear weapons or chemical agents would be active candidates for employment.”

The plan to use nukes, code-named Fracture Jaw, would see nuclear weapons placed in South Vietnam for use on short notice against Vietnamese troops. President Lyndon Johnson rejected the plan.

Had the weapons been used, it would have added to the horrors of what was one of the most tumultuous and violent years in modern American history. Johnson announced weeks later that he would not run for re-election. The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy were assassinated shortly thereafter.

And while Gen. Westmoreland publicly expressed confidence that they would win, he was privately organizing a group which would meet in Okinawa to plan how to move nuclear weapons into South Korea - and draw up plans for how they would be strategically used against North Vietnamese forces.

Operation Fracture Jaw echoes other moments when US presidents were forced to consider - or bluff - over the use of nuclear weapons, most famously during the 1962 Cuban missile crisis. Prior to that, Gen. Douglas MacArthur explored the use of nuclear weapons in the Korean War, before he was dismissed by President Harry Truman, who feared that MacArthur's aggressive strategy would ignite a broad war with China. At one point he did move atomic warheads to Pacific bases, however, though they were not placed in Korea itself.

Except for my Mother, I never had family. I never had a family of my own.

For years I thought I had a family. I wanted a family.

Nope.

What I had was an ersatz family, a virtual family, a family run by the US secret political police.

The three children were not born that way, of course. I will discuss them later.

We will first focus on my so-called “wife,” Lauren Gail (Brown) Lockshin.

It needs repeating at the outset that my knowledge about the American (and later, about the Soviet and Russian) secret political police was gained over the period of many years. As a result of a lifetime of harsh and painful experiences plus considerable study.

If for no other reason than personal survival, I had to be able to figure out what was happening, learn what was the prime source of my repeated hard times and “disappointments.”

But my inner motivation was – and is – much more then purely personal. I intensely hate the US-led imperialist system which destroys so many hundreds of millions of lives on the putrid altar of ill-gotten wealth for the antihuman few.

While we dated and then got married I had no idea whatsoever that Lauren Brown was a bought-and-paid-for prostitute of the US Gestapo. Such thoughts did not even occur to me.

How did I learn all this? In order not to inadvertently assist the US secret political police discern the reasons for their “mistake,” I will omit a discussion of how I arrived at this information. I will only say that if I had not learned about the real Lauren Brown, I today would be in terrible shape – almost certainly dead.

What would impel/compel a young woman to become a CIA-FBI-cohorts' long-term filthy prostitute? Love was never the issue.

It is not difficult to understand why the US secret political police would want such an individual enmeshed in my most intimate personal life: intelligence – a most reliable source to continually ascertain and report on the intensions, mood and contemplations of the target individual, me in this case.

From my book Silent Terror (p. 80): «Up-to-date intelligence is vital for aggressively waging psychological warfare (or other forms of warfare). Good intelligence is required '... to get inside the other fellow's skin, feel his feelings and think his thoughts' (SYKEWAR, Psychological Warfare Against Germany, 1949, p. 329) and '(a) to draft realistic and feasible plans based on known or probable psychological vulnerabilities of the target, (b) to provide information for each operation and (c) to provide assessment of the effectiveness of past operations.'” (A Psychological Warfare Casebook, William E. Daugherty and Morris Janowitz, 1958, p. 425)

Brown's CIA game was not only intelligence. Also provocations when appropriate, including a planned final, decisive and fatal stab in the back.

The United States is facing a literacy crisis. Yes, crisis. It isn’t new, but its impact upon our kids, our economy, and our society are far-reaching and expanding. How bad is it? Take a look at some numbers.
More than 30 million adults in the United States cannot read, write, or do basic math above a third grade level. — ProLiteracy

Children whose parents have low literacy levels have a 72 percent chance of being at the lowest reading levels themselves. These children are more likely to get poor grades, display behavioral problems, have high absentee rates, repeat school years, or drop out. — National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER)

75 percent of state prison inmates did not complete high school or can be classified as low literate. — Rand Report: Evaluating the Effectiveness of Correctional Education

Low literacy is said to be connected to over $230 billion a year in health care costs because almost half of Americans cannot read well enough to comprehend health information, incurring higher costs. — American Journal of Public Health

Literacy has long been used as a method of social control and oppression. Throughout much of history, the ability to read was something only privileged, upper-class white men were allowed to learn. Education was provided to only a select few, and this preserved a class system that kept the poor powerless and the rich powerful—a practice that continues today.

After the slave revolt of 1831, all slave states except Maryland, Kentucky, and Tennessee passed laws that made it illegal to teach slaves to read and write. Why were they so concerned about slaves learning to read? Because if slaves learned to read, they could access information. They could organize and rise up against the institution of slavery. Slave owners wanted to keep their slaves uneducated and powerless because they understood that literacy represents power.


Women, too, were largely left out of education. Educating women simply was not a priority until the early 1900s.

Illiteracy keeps people trapped in a cycle of poverty and subjugation, limiting life choices and making it difficult to achieve social mobility. In the United States, literacy rates vary greatly between racial and socio-economic groups. Minorities are still oppressed by lower literacy levels. Literacy continues to be a mechanism of social control and oppression.

The U.S. is less educated than it was a generation ago, with a national abjection from the unending toxicity of racial divides built upon 300 years of oppression and antipathy. Today we see these divides widening, and the impact will be immense as poverty, racism and achievement gaps continue to pass down to future generations.

Why was “special prize” Arnold Lockshin “sent” to the Soviet Union in 1986? (5)

If Arnold Lockshin (and his family) had moved back to the US, he would have met certain death. We're talking murder. Which the US authorities would have announced as “suicide.” With the corrupt, unscrupulous and lackey American mass media dutifully parroting that line; on secret political police orders, of course.

Who would have objected? No one.

“See, we told you Lockshin was crazy!”

How would the powerful US and especially the “Soviet” pro-imperialist propaganda army have played up Arnold Lockshin's leaving the USSR and his subsequent “suicide” in the US?

The propaganda blare would have been enormous. Roughly as follows:

Arnold Lockshin fled to the USSR proclaiming that he and his family had been the victims of persecution and a terror campaign conducted by the US secret political police, the FBI. For their part, the US Department of State characterized Lockshin's assertions as “absurd.”

Further. The “Soviet” government granted the American dissidents political asylum and together with the “Soviet” mass media praised and publicized the Lockshins, Arnold in particular (for a short spell). And the “perestroika” officials seemed to have done whatever they could in providing the Lockshins with a “good life” in Moscow.

Further. In spite of all that, Arnold Lockshin rejected political asylum, abandoned the Soviet Union and returned to the States. Where he then committed “suicide.”

What to make of all this? “In the US Lockshin was unhappy. He came to the Soviet Union and in spite of all that was done for him and his family, he was unhappy. Then he returned to the US – still unhappy. And so he killed himself.”

The propagandized “conclusions” of the murderous psychological warfare plot:

1) Only a crazy person would leave the US to live in the Soviet Union – under any circumstances. “Obviously,” socialism is terrible. “Forgive us, dear America for not having loved you sufficiently. We Russians promise to live and behave as Americans tell us.»

2) The “Soviet Communist regime” enthusiastically supported and praised the “crazy” American who came to live in the Soviet Union. “Down with the Communist regime!”

A vicious, cynical, murderous plan. Psychological warfare. CIA propaganda of the deed.

The campaign of persecution and terror conducted against me in the US was predicated on the sure knowledge that after a brief initial “welcoming period,” repeated dirty tricks, lies and gross indignities would be aimed against me in the Soviet Union. Directive: Get rid of the Arnold Lockshin! Force him to go back to the US!

But who in the USSR conducted this harsh and dirty campaign against Arnold Lockshin?

The US secret political police, the CIA, FBI, etc. could not have acted alone in this fashion on Soviet soil. The CIA could not have directly ordered ordinary Soviet citizens to conduct malicious actions against someone like myself who had been welcomed into the country.

The American political police had to have intermediaries, indigenous accomplices. Otherwise the dirty campaign against me in the USSR could not have taken place.

Who were these “Soviet” agents of the CIA?

The answer emphatically boils down to the so-called “Committee for Security of the Soviet Union - Комитет государственной безопасности — КГБ. Also known as the KGB.

The same “Soviet” secret political police, the KGB, which posed as the “super-communist,” “super-patriotic,” “ever-vigilant” force in the country. Which resolutely and constantly proclaimed its dedication to the defense of socialism and the Soviet Union.

The same KGB that – under CIA orders - secretly, deviously and actively conspired for decades to bring down the Soviet Union. That very KGB which played a critical role in promoting vicious anti-communists of the Gorbachev, Yeltsin, etc. variety to the dominant positions in the Communist Party and country.

How to effectuate the plot?

The manifold CIA agents in the “Soviet” mass media, the government and Communist Party of the Soviet Union were used to obeying subversive KGB orders. No problem there.

But these agents were a minority of the population. It was also necessary to involve many others in the plot, sometimes only briefly. How would an ordinary person react to a directive of the FBI in the US or the KGB in the USSR? A directive to ignore, reject, injure psychologically – inflict personal harm on a target individual?

Essentially identically. Which Joe or Susie or Иван or Лена would begin to challenge the lies or disobey instructions of the “sacred” secret political police? What would the consequences be for an individual who refused to carry out an FBI or KGB directive? Or a CIA-FSB directive today?

And for those who comply, there are tangible and implied benefits – including money, an advanced status in society, etc.

The powerful secret political police wielded and continue to wield powerful and effective weapons. Especially when their sworn goals were to advance the corrupt and brutal ruling class in the United States and to subvert and destroy the Soviet Union on behalf of imperialism.

Whether everyone connected with the KGB operated directly under CIA diktat is a moot question. Some KGB operatives may have simply followed orders; others were not involved in “politics.”
Yet if anyone carried out venal and corrupt directives, he/she shares in the guilt. What is absolutely certain is that the KGB leadership and its politics of bringing down the USSR were dictated abroad and then implemented in the Land of the Soviets. This was treason. Ugly treason.

As for Arnold Lockshin's role in all this? He was simply an intended hapless pawn in the long-standing, insidious and massive imperialist scheme to destroy the Soviet Union. A plan of the highest priority.

And the main target of this plot? The Soviet people.

Estonian Central Bank Exposed As $1 Trillion Money-Laundering Nexus

The fallout from the Danske Bank money laundering scandal has rattled the European financial system as $235 billion that flowed through the bank's tiny Estonian branch - an amount that dwarfs the Baltic nation's GDP.

And while that might seem like a staggering sum and raise questions about how regulators on the Continent managed to overlook this, the full scale of the money laundering that took place in the Baltics is even more staggering. According to data provided to Bloomberg by the Estonian central bank in Tallinn, Estonian banks handled about 900 billion euros, or $1.04 trillion, in cross-border transactions - a figure that includes the highly suspect non-resident flows - between 2008 and 2015. The notion that these foreign individuals and investors would choose to run such a large sum of their money through Estonia for explicitly legitimate purposes is difficult to swallow.

Money laundering by non-residents isn't just endemic to Estonia - it has endemic to the entire Baltic region (and possibly all of Europe). Dark money will almost certainly continue to flow through the European banking system like sand through a sieve.

My return to the United States would have meant my certain death.

An exaggeration? I beg the reader to reject that glorified image of the USA shown daily on Russian television. Please forget the loudly trumpeted lies about magnificent American “democracy.” Forget about concern for “human rights” in the US.

The American rulers do not tolerate someone like Arnold Lockshin. Why should they? The United States of America is, after all, the “exceptional” country! Exceptionally brutal and warlike.

William C. Sullivan, former Assistant Director of the FBI and head of the FBI's Domestic Intelligence Division, laid it on the line:

“No holds were barred... (The same methods used against Dr. Martin Luther King) were brought home against any organization against which we were targeted. We did not differentiate. This is rough, tough business.

“This is a common practice, rough, tough, dirty business... To repeat, it is a rough, tough, dirty business, and dangerous. It was dangerous at times – that is, dangerous to the persons who are being affected, not to the Bureau persons... It was dangerous at times, no holds were barred.

“Never once did I hear anybody, including myself, raise the question, is this course of action which we have agreed upon lawful... it is ethical or moral?.. The one thing we were concerned about (was) will this course of action work, will it get us what we want...? I think this suggests really in government we are amoral “ (Harris Woford, Of Kennedys and Kings, 1980; Mark Lane and Dick Gregory, Code Name 'ZORRO', The Murder of Martin Luther King, 1977). After this testimony before a US Senate committee, William C. Sullivan was murdered. An “accident.” A deliberate, planned and executed “accident.”

The admirers of US imperialism can take “take heart” in another “banal” fact.

Bolstered by massively propagandized, provocative lies about non-existent “weapons of mass destruction,” the US and subservient “allies” invaded Iraq and murdered more than a million people in that country!

It goes without saying that no one in the US has been punished for this monstrous crime. Not the serial mass murderer ex-US President George Bush nor anyone else. No prosecution, no trial, nothing. Not in the past, not now, not ever. Nothing.

The felons of US imperialism can kill as many people as they like, and it's all OK. God Bless America!

Would these modern-day American Nazis spare someone like Arnold Lockshin? Someone who in the “Evil Empire” (the Soviet Union) criticized the sacred CIA, the sacred FBI of the sacred United States of America?

Not a chance!

Would the “Soviet” accomplices of US imperialism have defended someone like Arnold Lockshin?

Not a chance!

Arnold Lockshin's murder would have been the culmination of a successful psychological warfare plot.

'Deaths of Despair' May Have Helped Fuel Trump's Victory

US News & World Report, Sept. 5, 2018

U.S. voters' despair over poor health and premature deaths might have tipped the 2016 presidential election in Donald Trump's favor, a new analysis argues.

Counties that voted Republican more heavily had a 15 percent higher age-adjusted death rate than counties that voted heavily Democratic. In particular, counties that shifted toward Trump had much larger increases in "deaths of despair."

People in counties with Republican gains were 2.5 times more likely to die from alcohol, drugs or suicide than counties with Democratic gains.

Death rates may be an important marker of the dissatisfaction, discouragement, hopelessness and fear of cultural displacement that contributed to President Trump's appeal, especially to the non-urban white working class."

Deaths related to alcohol, drugs and suicide only account for 5 percent of deaths in counties where Republicans made voting gains. People in the counties that shifted to President Trump died from pretty much everything more often.

This jibes with another recent study that found counties with higher rates of prescription painkiller use voted heavily in favor of Trump. On average, Trump got about 60 percent of the vote in counties with the greatest use of prescription opioids like Vicodin and OxyContin, researchers reported in JAMA Network Open in June.

The new study was published online Sept. 5 in the Journal of General Internal Medicine.

Shortly after our heralded arrival in Moscow, a hidden, carefully organized and many-sided, provocative and dirty campaign was put in place to force Arnold Lockshin to reject political asylum in the Soviet Union and return to the United States.

Had Lockshin returned to the United States, one can imagine the storm that would have been created by the CIA-controlled “Soviet” mass media and political figures. The people of the USSR did not know – and could not have known – about the pernicious campaign of contrived “problems.” hard-hearted indignities, crude lies and ugly deceptions that were thrown our way. (My “wife” was a fake victim; more about her later.)

The anticipated propaganda plan was as follows: “Look, the Lockshins forcefully stated that they had had a terrible time in the US and that they were forced to seek political asylum. The 'perestroika' 'Soviet' government and Party did 'all they could' to provide the Lockshins with the best possible Soviet way of life. The Government granted them political asylum, provided them with a spacious apartment, gave them work, schooling for the children and positive publicity. And in spite of all this, the Lockshins returned to the States.”

What could all this mean? That the worst in America was far better than the best in the Soviet Union.

Cleverly concocted “propaganda of the deed.”

In the interests of United States imperialism.

It would have been powerful propaganda in the interests of United States imperialism.

But the Lockshins did not leave the Soviet Union, did not go back to the US.

This insidious plan was a brainchild of the US secret political police and effectuated by their willing “Soviet” stooges. But it did not work out. For several reasons.

(1) In the US, the secret political police have free rein. In the Soviet Union, they also had a free hand, but it was not quite that simple. Because of the build-up given the Lockshins and the sympathies of Soviet citizens, the CIA and its stooges had to keep the harassment campaign against me hidden from the masses of people. The ordeal against me here was severe, at times cruel, but I did not experience in Moscow the reign of terror that was forced upon me in Texas in 1986.

(2) If I had succumbed to the contrived pressures and problems and returned to “the Land of the (un) Free,” that would have meant that I had rejected my life-long anti-imperialist, pro-socialist convictions. I was not made that way.

(3) By the time I arrived in Moscow, I already had had many years of experience in counteracting the disruptive schemes of imperialist psychological warfare. There were crucial similarities in the operations of the psychological warriors in the United States and in the USSR. For good reason: the fundamental source of these operations was the same.

(4) I rather quickly grasped that the despicable and treacherous “Soviet” actors directing the operations against me were not at all defenders of the USSR but instead were underhanded and vicious CIA-directed enemies of socialism and the Soviet Union. Notwithstanding the fact that most of them were formally members of the Communist Party!


(5) There was an additional weighty reason for me not to return to the US of A. It would have meant my certain death.

The president has long sold himself as a self-made billionaire, but a Times investigation found that he received at least $413 million in today’s dollars from his father’s real estate empire, much of it through tax dodges.

President Trump participated in dubious tax schemes during the 1990s, including instances of outright fraud, that greatly increased the fortune he received from his parents, an investigation by The New York Times has found.

Mr. Trump won the presidency proclaiming himself a self-made billionaire, and he has long insisted that his father Fred C. Trump provided almost no financial help.

But The Times’s investigation, based on a vast trove of confidential tax returns and financial records, reveals that Mr. Trump received the equivalent today of at least $413 million from his father’s real estate empire, continuing to this day.

Much of this money came to Mr. Trump because he helped his parents dodge taxes. He and his siblings set up a sham corporation to disguise millions of dollars in gifts from their parents, records and interviews show. Records indicate that Mr. Trump helped his father take improper tax deductions worth millions more. He also helped formulate a strategy to undervalue his parents’ real estate holdings by hundreds of millions of dollars on tax returns, sharply reducing the tax bill when those properties were transferred to him and his siblings.

These maneuvers met with little resistance from the Internal Revenue Service.

Let us repeat the question: why in 1986 did the treasonous Gorbachev CIA-run gang grant political asylum to Arnold Lockshin and his family? Given that Lockshin was a insistent and vocal critic of the United States' ruling elite. While at the same time, Gorbachev and his large circle of fellow traitors were willing fiendish instruments in the US-led conspiracy to destroy the Soviet Union.

Stunning contradiction?

Only at first appearances.

When possible and appropriate, the masters of imperialist subversion employ the tactic of “propaganda of the deed,” which essentially means concocting provocations and amplifying their effect through massive propaganda. If such a scheme hits the mark, the combination of contrived actions with massive dissemination of lies can be many times more effective than the “ordinary” propaganda that people confront daily in the press, the radio and TV – and the internet.

«Psychological warfare becomes vastly more effective... when alloyed with some of the other direct approaches to overt action. Such a mixture, reinforced by a dramatic presentation of some issue to insure the capture of the average man's attention, is usually found in the increasingly popular... practice of staging some event meticulously calculated to force the individual to follow a course of action through its suggestive impact...” (Propaganda Comes of Age, Michael Choukas, Washington D.C. 1965, p.206)

In short, when there is a living person or a concrete event around which the psychological warriors can concoct a masterful provocation, the effect may be powerful, not infrequently very powerful.

As CIA – Gorbachevian fake and treacherous “perestroika” (re-building) was gathering steam, it became very important to “demonstrate” that capitalism was far superior to “damned” socialism. It was necessary to somehow convince the Soviet people – or at least substantial sections of them – that it was “essential” to break up the Soviet Union.

Even though this final stage of counter-revolution and its consequences would lead to a further sharp deterioration in the peoples' standard of living. US and other western ruling circles were well aware that the lot of the Soviet people would be terrible. In fact, they openly welcomed that brutal development. While at the same time, the CIA-controlled politicians and mass media in the USSR assiduously hid that truth from the Soviet people.

The transition to a “market economy” will be “cruel,” even “extremely cruel” (Financial Times, October10, 1990). Radical and harsh economic measures in the USSR would lead to huge unemployment and massive inflation (International Herald Tribune, March 20.1990).

And the destruction of the Soviet Union took its brutal toll. Mortality sharply increased, and millions of people died prematurely. “In effect, mass privatisation was mass murder” (The Economist, January 22, 2009). “Millions of people, mostly men of employment age, died as a result of the effects of .the 'shock therapy” transition...” (Mass privatisation and the post-communist mortality crisis: a cross-national analysis, The Lancet, January 31,.2009).

Here was the grand plan involving Arnold Lockshin: First, present before the Soviet people a genuine American who unhesitatingly exposed the anti-human policies of America's ruling class and condemned the FBI campaign of terror against him and his family in the US. Grant political asylum to this family and let the father publicly denounce US imperialism. Moreover, demonstrate publicly that this family was provided with a spacious apartment (the normal waiting period for apartments was several years) and that the father of the family was given work in his profession as a scientist. Everything seemed to be just perfect.

Then conduct an unheralded, hidden and dirty campaign against the American newcomer with the aim of dashing his hopes and forcing the family to return back to the States. Preferably with declamations against the Soviet Union.

Soon after our arrival in Moscow, I in particular became the target of exactly that kind of hidden, meticulously organized and many-sided ultra-dirty campaign aimed at the compelling the Lockshins – me in particular - to reject political asylum in the USSR and return to the USA.

Arnold Lockshin was the perfect object, the “prize” for the American Gestapo (the FBI and others) to become the ill-fated pawn in this classic “propaganda of the deed” scheme.

However, even more worrying is this condition is now spreading to the youngest, as Axios reports, every 15 minutes, a baby is born addicted to opioids.

In Baltimore, doctors at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital say babies born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome - a set of conditions caused by withdrawal from exposure to drugs - now account for 25% of the hospital’s admissions.

Nationally, the number of babies born with the syndrome has increased by over 400 percent since 2004.

As drug-related deaths continue to increase, the future remains uncertain.

Why was “special prize” Arnold Lockshin “sent” to the Soviet Union in 1986? (1)


The timing was important. In principle, the US secret political police were no less vicious in 1966, 1976 or at any earlier – or later – time.

As for myself: while my experience and knowledge increased as I matured, my basic political-ideological views were formed during my rather young teenage years. So I was a target of the US secret political police long before 1986 when the outright terror campaign against me unfolded in Houston, Texas.

1986 was the second year of Gorbachev's “perestroika” hoax, which in fact was the final stage of counter-revolution in the USSR. By that time, CIA-commanded reactionary forces – the most prominent of which continued to play their designated role as “communists” - were in control of the superstructure of society: the government and Communist Party, the KGB secret political police, the mass media, and in large measure at least of the economy, culture and education. This list could well be extended.

Under these horrendous conditions, destruction of the Soviet Union was inevitable.

What else did these CIA and its underlings need? To convince the mass of Soviet people to abandon socialism and accept the undermining of the Soviet state. Not a simple task.

Upon our arrival in Moscow in October 1986, the hidden but insidious pro-US propaganda machine in the Soviet Union praised the Lockshins. «In the USSR the Lockshins became celebrities.”Arnold Lockshin met with Andrei A. Gromyko, Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet and a renowned diplomat.” («Российско-американские сюжеты», alliruk 28.05.2011).

Gromyko stated that “We in the USSR fully understand the Lockshins' thoughts and feelings. They acted in accordance with their conscience, and convincingly explained their motives. The Soviet people applaud the courageous actions of Dr. Arnold Lockshin and his family.” (“В СССР вполне понимают настроение и мысли Локшиных. Они предприняли продиктованный совестью шаг, мотивы которого объяснили убедительно... Советские люди аплодируют мужественному поступку доктора Арнольд Локшина и его семьи...» - Московская правда, 11.10.1986).

What to make of all this? Here was an American with anti-imperialist, socialist convictions, who forcefully criticized the US ruling class and especially the brutal and terrifying actions of the US secret political police (probably the FBI in my case). Offering me and my family political asylum and allowing me to speak out publicly against US imperialism was, on the face of it, certainly not something that the CIA would sponsor.

The Lockshin case, Gromyko said, “ was a stern rebuke to those who deprived the Lockshins of their inalienable right to live freely and work among their own people.” («суровый укор тем, кто лишил их возможности реализовать свое неотъемлемое право жить свободно и трудиться вместе со своим народом»).

On the face of it, the Lockshin case presented an evident, sharp contradiction. The CIA and the Gorbachev “perestroika” cabal were hell-bent on effectuating the treacherous, criminal imperialist plot to destroy the USSR and betray the Soviet people. A very important element of this high treason was propagating a highly embellished image of the United States and praising that “great democracy.” Under Gorbachev, the US was no longer dangerously imperialist, but a “true friend.” (I cannot recall a single instance when CIA-stooge Gorbachev used the word “imperialist” to describe the US or US policies.)

On the other hand, the Soviet government and mass media warmly embraced Arnold Lockshin, a determined critic of US policies. A notable step in the exact opposite direction.

What was really happening?

A democratic “gift?” Good will? Confusion at the top?

Forget it!

The US is relocating migrant children to barren tent cities near the Mexico border—at midnight

The US is currently home to close to 13,000 detained migrant children, .the largest population ever Today (Sept. 30), The New York Times reports that in recent weeks a growing number of them have been moved, often in the middle of the night, from foster homes and shelters all over the country and transported to a tent city in Tornillo, Texas, a remote location near the Mexican border.

“In order to avoid escape attempts, the moves are carried out late at night because children will be less likely to try to run away,” The Times writes. “For the same reason, children are generally given little advance warning that they will be moved.”

The Tornillo facility was set up in June of 2018 to hold 400 children. That number was expanded to 1,200 later in the summer, and in mid-September, Texas Monthly reported that the facility would expand to house 3,800 children, and plan to stay open at least through the end of the year.

Earlier in September, the US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told Congress that the agency had recently arrested 41 applicants seeking to sponsor children in custody.

In Tornillo, migrant children are separated by gender, and there are no schooling requirements.

A personal and not-so-personal background...

I am generally reluctant to focus on private, personal affairs. However, when discussing US Gestapo attacks against a concrete individual, it is quite impossible to avoid consideration of that person's personal life. Even sometimes going back to his/her childhood and adolescent years.

What to a normal person would be strictly personal questions are matters of great interest to the monstrous and thoroughly inhumane US lie, spy, criminal, provocation, subversion and regime change, terror, drug-runnning, torture, war and mass murder apparatus.

The only genuine, long-lasting friend I ever had in my life was my Mother, Mary (Shulman) Lockshin. Mom never abandoned me, would never have given the slightest thought to betraying or harming me.

She payed a harsh price for her progressive outlook – while not revolutionary, was nonetheless supportive of socialism. Because of her humanistic views and loving support of me – even when she did not agree with my chosen course of action – Mom suffered. Under the direction of the American Gestapo, my Mother's own husband, her daughter and (other) son instigated cruel and heartless psychological warfare actions against her. The FBI and/or its fellow Gestapo monsters exploited my Mother's love for her family to injure her deeply.


When I had the opportunity, I stood by my Mother. My position was principled. But not as vigorous as it would have been had I then known what lay behind the attacks she had to confront.


Mom died of disseminated breast cancer on January 1, 1981. What she provided for me went beyond motherhood. Before I understood or fully grasped what lay behind the harassment, problems and contrived isolation that I faced, I had this one honest and loving relationship to fall back on. It was an indispensable measuring rod to contrast with all the hideous ploys and dishonesty I had to face while she was alive and even more intensely afterwards.

Beyond a mother's love and genuine friendship, there were two critically important factors that served me very well later in life.

1) Under the vicious and dastardly control of society by the secret political police, I learned that almost anyone can be induced/compelled to actively conspire against, attack and injure the target individual. This definitely includes one's closest relatives. Which is what my Mother also faced.


What made it much more difficult in my Mother's case was that she – like almost all victims of psychological warfare attacks – was unaware of the source of the foul and ugly assaults: the US political police. Through most of her life, I too was unaware, but nonetheless did what I thought was possible at the time to support her.

Mom's cruel experiences greatly helped me later understand the thoroughly evil and sadistic force that motivated analogous attacks against me, including by my own closest relatives.

2) While Mom was alive, I was not completely isolated. Even during these many years since her death, this recollection of just one honest human-to-human relationship has served me very well.

In order to facilitate the destruction of their victims, the secret political police in the US and in Russia (and undoubtedly, virtually everywhere) endeavor at virtually all costs to completely isolate the target. It is intended that the completely alone and simultaneously tormented target individual lose his self-orientation.

Psychological warfare attacks are “planned to qualitatively alter the psychology and behavior or the target. The combination of threats and provocations, fatigue and unending worry and fear may lead to a state of severe anxiety, where the target virtually loses control. The aim is to produce:

If the target is completely isolated, he has little or no capacity to gauge the significance or consequences of this or that ploy against him, nor how to best respond. The victim is likely to fall into panic and/or complete despair. “A climactic cascade effect may be induced, causing the target to lose all semblance of reality... the most likely result is (the target's) complete mental and/or physical breakdown or suicide.” (Silent Terror, p. 104)
